On behalf of the Dubai Health Authority, Government of Dubai, it gives me great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the 1st Dubai International Implant Summit – DIIS, a unique endeavor aimed at focusing on the Implant Specialty of Dentistry.

Dentistry, one of the most evolving medical sciences, not only deals with the practice of diagnosis and treatment, it lays an increased emphasis on the prevention of dental diseases and advanced oral hygiene.

In line with the dynamic vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with the support of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of Dubai Health Authority and in order to advance the science and quality of Dentistry, in particular Implantology, we have offered our support to the Dubai International Implant Summit – DIIS, scheduled to be held in Dubai in co-operation with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists – ICOI and in association with the UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental
Exhibition – AEEDC Dubai, from November 10th – 12th, 2009.

The Dubai Health Authority through the informative medium of congresses and conventions which entail continuing medical and dental education, bringing forth innovations, industry advancements and encouraging international fraternity, will further continue to forge ahead with promising efforts to expand the reach of our services to the global arena.

I would like to welcome the representatives of International Congress of Oral Implantologists – ICOI and all of you to share with us the laurels of a World Class Summit and experience the rich hospitality of the City of Dubai.
